I offer workshops at my farmden in New York’s Hudson Valley (and sometimes elsewhere). This is an opportunity for me to teach where I grow, so each workshop is a very hands-on experience.
If you are in the New Paltz, NY area or are willing to travel, this is a worthwhile trip. Workshop length depends on the content. Note: Occasional workshops are held offsite.
PRUNING WORKSHOP, with Lee Reich, PhD, farmdener* and writer (author of The Pruning Book)
Sorry, workshop has been filled, so no more registrations. Notify me if you’d like to be added to the waiting list.
This hands-on (mostly my hands) workshop will cover:
•Timing for when to prune
•The tools of the trade
•How plants — all plants — respond to various types of pruning cuts
•Pruning demonstrations, and some hands-on pruning, of a sampling of specific plants such as apple trees, blueberry bushes, grapes
After this workshop, you will feel comfortable, confident, and enlightened in pruning any plant!
Date: March 28, 2020
Time: 2-5:30 PM
Place: Lee’s Farmden in NewPaltz, NY
*A farmdener tends a farmden, which is more than a garden and less than a farm.
